Utility Jacket Peace

Leave it to me to wear a utility jacket as my only form of warmth during the first snow fall in New Jersey. In my defense, it was the earliest snowfall to date since it snowed on Halloween in 2011! Regardless of the temps, this jacket has been my favorite for the past 5 years. Seriously, it’s so good, I have not had one urge to find another to feed my needs.

This fall staple goes with ANY outfit you put on. I dare you to find a look this jacket won’t go with! This particular favorite of mine is from J-Crew and is under $60 right now! The details of this jacket give it an edge while still giving a feminine feel.

Fall Staple: Camo Utility Jacket

So there’s something you should probably know about me.. if it comes in camo, I’m going to buy it. If you’re like me, you probably own camo pants, camo tops, camo shoes, camo jackets…all things camo. Today I’m sharing one utility jacket in particular that is under $40 and a fall staple!

This utility jacket from Old Navy is such a practical piece – it’s casual enough to throw on for a walk in the park or has details that make it feminine enough to wear for a night out with a pair of heels. The jacket has a mock neck and drawstrings on the waist to cinch and give it a more fitted look. The jacket has elastic cuffs – which to be honest I didn’t think I was going to love but I think it gives the jacket some edge. I love this jacket – the pattern isn’t overwhelming, it’s lightweight and AFFORDABLE.

I’m wearing a size XS Petite – Fit is TTS.
